2008 VXCS Classes, Starting Order and Policy Regarding Rider Numbers

For the 2008 season, the VXCS will continue to use the most basic, effective system there is. It's as simple as this: whatever number is on your bike or quad is the number your transponder will be assigned. In the event of duplicate numbers, a rider will be assigned a letter after the number on their bike. If you're using a transponder in another series, there's no need to write a new number into your transponder if you're competing in a VXCS event.

After you have signed up and competed under the number you have chosen, you cannot change numbers!

The VXCS will also not require classes to have different background colors for the number plates, nor will we be designating any series of numbers for any classes as we have in the past. In short - the VXCS will support your use of whatever number is current on your bike, with whatever background color you're currently using. We will require that ALL NUMBERS on your motorcycle or quad match with your transponder. Whatever you want your number to be must be a minimum of 5" on the front and side numberplates and be the same number assigned to your transponder. No exceptions.
