VXCS 2008 Schedule and Format

Please note some specifics for the 2008 racing season including new start times!

  • All events will use a two- day format.
  • There will be practice prior to the Sunday bike event.
  • There will be one throw-away.
  • All races / classes are scored by computer, using transponders - with the exception of the youth classes which will be scored manually.
  • There will be an early signup from 3 - 6PM on the Saturday before all events.

Format

A 2-DAY RACE FORMAT 8 Race series, best 7 count towards championship
Early signup for Sunday’s events can be done between 3pm and 6pm on Saturdays

Saturday Race Times

2:00pm-2:30pm - all 50cc classes and Jr. Girls, run on separate course, scored by hand 2:00pm-3:00pm- all 65cc-105cc bikes
2:45pm-3:15pm – Jr. ATV
3:30pm-4:15pm - Youth ATV
5:00pm-6;00pm – Orion Pit Bike Series
6:15pm-7:15pm- Open Practice*
*full course, weather permitting, must be signed up for Sunday’s events prior to practice. BIKES ONLY!

Sunday Race Times

10:15am-12:15pm - Main Event- all A ,B, and C classes
1:45pm –3:30pm - all ATV classes (except Jr. ATV, Youth ATV)
